CHAPTER 1: GRASSROOTS DEMOCRACY

Delete section called "Community." Content is added to "Community Economic Involvement" section in Chapter 4 and scattered throughout the other chapters as well.

Combine "Domestic Security" section from Chapter 1, "Religious Freedom and Secular Equality" from Chapter 2 and "War on Terrorism" from Chapter 2 into a new section called "Civil Liberties" in Chapter 1.

CHAPTER 2: SOCIAL JUSTICE

Remove section called "Civil Rights and Equal Rights."

All subsections of "Civil Rights and Equal Rights" from 2004 platform shall become stand-alone sections.

Move "Education and Arts" section from Chapter 2 "Social Justice" to Chapter 1 "Grassroots Democracy." Separate them into two distinct sections.

Move "Media Reform" section from Chapter 2 "Social Justice" to Chapter 1 "Grassroots Democracy."

Delete section titled, "Economic Justice/Social Safety Net."

CHAPTER 3: SUSTAINABLE ECONOMY

Change name of Chpater 3 from "Economic Sustainability" to "Sustainable Economy."

Delete section called called "Small business and the self-employed." Transfer positions into the "Green Jobs" section.

Separate section called "True cost pricing and Fair Taxation" in Chapter 3 into two sections.

Move "Trade" section from Chapter 1 to Chapter 3.

Delete section on "True Cost Pricing." Relevant planks moved to "Fair Taxation" section.

Delete section on "Anti-trust Enforcement." Content moved to "Citizen control over corporations."

CHAPTER 4: SUSTAINABLE EARTH

Change name of Chapter 4 from "Ecological Sustainability" to "Sustainable Earth."

Delete section "Economics Justice" section. It's content has been added to other areas of Chapter 4.

CHAPTER 5: NON-VIOLENCE

Create Chapter 5 "Non-violence."

Move "Peace and disarmament" section from Chapter 1 "Democracy" to Chapter 5 "Non-violence."

Move "A real road to peace in the Middle East" from Chapter 1 "Democracy" to Chapter 5 "Non-violence."

Move "Demilitarization of space" from Chapter 1 "Democracy" to Chapter 5 "Non-violence."

Separate section called "Advanced Technology and defense conversion" in Chapter 4 into two sections. Keep "Advanced Technology" in Chapter 4. Move content "Defense conversion" to Chapter 5 "United States" section.
