DRAFT: TIER ONE CONSULTING CONTRACT

Contract goal: Raise $50,000 Contract cost: $4,100

Contract assumptions: GPCA's General Assembly agrees to (1) launch a statewide voter registration to register 100,000 new Green Party members by Election Day 2012; and (2) launch a campaign to close down diablo canyon and san onofre nuclear power plants.

Work details

$1,000 for major donor solicitations (FINANCE, 25 hours)

Details: Conduct phone, email and in-person solicitations with $250 plus donor prospects.

$200 to design and launch houseparty program (FINANCE, 5 hours)

Details: Design basic materials for GPCA fundraising houseparty program. Publish basic training materials and party planning suggestions. Train and advise houseparty hosts.

$200 to write and design one prospect direct mail package (FINANCE, 5 hours)

Details: Includes outer envelope, inner reply device and letter. Target 11,250 Green Party members using GPUS donor information, GPCA donor information, voter file database queries and socio-economic data. Does not include researching the best prices for printing and mailhouse vendors. Getting bids from vendors would take an additional 2 hours of research.

$200 to write and design one resolicitation letter (FINANCE, 5 hours)

Details: Includes outer envelope, inner reply device and letter. Target all Green Party donors using GPUS donor information, GPCA donor information, voter file database queries and socio-economic data. Does not include researching the best prices for printing and mailhouse vendors. Getting bids from vendors would take an additional 2 hours of research.

$200 to write and design one email solicitation and online campaign (FINANCE, 5 hours)

Details: Design email solicitation. When GPCA implements a email communications system that is connected to our CMS, design optimized donate page, other online promotional appeals and publish online fundraising content and materials on GPCA social networks.

$400 for managing telemarketing project (FINANCE, 10 hours)

Details: Request bids for telemarketing test project with company that could guarantee a no-financial risk contract test period. Recommend a telemarketing company to GPCA CC for approval. Write fundraising script for telemarketing company. Train telemarketing company by telephone, video conference call or in-person. Work with GPCA treasurer and telemarketing company to make sure that income is compliant with campaign finance law. Work with GPCA treasurer and telemarketing company to make sure that all income and expenditure is accounted for.

$400 for building GPCA supporter database in CRM (FINANCE, 10 hours)

Work with CRM vendor to install and build GPCA supporter database including volunteers, donors and prospects.

$400 for coordinating website upgrade and transition to CMS (FINANCE, 10 hours)

Details: Work with CMS vendor to design, install, build and launch GPCA website upgrade. Train volunteers how to use new CMS.

$400 for volunteer recruitment (CCWG, 10 hours)

Details: Recruit, train and supporter voter registration drive volunteers and phone canvass volunteers.

$400 for voter file database management (CCWG, 10 hours)

Details: Work with voter file database software to make sure our data is updated 4 times per year. Design useful volunteer phone canvasses and phone scripts. Track results of phone banks, congratulate volunteers who do a great job, and review reporting statistics for trends and insights.

$300 for tabling materials (GROW, 7.5 hours)

Details: Draft text and design various tabling materials, including fliers, signs and bookmarks. Circulate to messaging group for feedback. Recruit and coordinate volunteer graphic designers. Publish tabling materials online for easy home printing. Create and sell clearinghouse merchandise (like buttons and t-shirts). Brainstorm other props may be useful for tabling.
